WELCOME!

Welcome to my blog Ekklesia Katholos (Acts 9:31). Let us explore the biblical, historical, and secular proofs of the founding, the building up, the growth of the One True Church of Jesus Christ, the Way, the Church of God, the Catholic Church as it was known by the early Christians which the secular authorities of the Roman Empire would later call, the Catholic Church of Christians.

Contrary to the claim of the thousands of Protestant denominations and non-denominational churches, organizations, societies founded by the preachers some of who were even former Catholics or whose families traced their religion to the Catholic Church, the Catholic Church was never lost, never apostatized, never dismantled, never destroyed, never ceased to exist, never stopped its works of salvation commissioned by the Lord himself even in the most severe condition, the most severe persecution, the most difficult situation where it could have been impossible for it to survive but it did, it even grew, and the wonder of wonders, it became a nation-kingdom state today. No other church has seen the history of the world unfolds right before its very existence that it is even part of those historical moment sin every nation where it is found.

The Reformation led by Martin Luther who was a former monk and priest in the Catholic Church was initially never meant to separate from the Catholic Church. But when it did using its formula of the Sola Scriptura and Sola Fide, at that very moment of separation, the same Reformation splintered into separate groups, that groups separated into different denominations, and that denominations gave rise to thousands of independent churches each having their own doctrines and beliefs from their own interpretation of the Bible using the false doctrine of Bible Alone which is alien to the teachings of the Apostles.

While the Catholic Church went through the most difficult and dangerous missionary works to the pagan world converting Gentiles and pagans to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Protestant denominations simply have to go to the majority Catholic Church members and lured them to join them using the scriptural truths in the bible mixed with lies, sarcasm, ridicule, fairy-tale like stories, convoluted logical fallacy, as well as the use of theatrical preaching that is designed to bring out outburst of emotions and hysteria from the audience that makes them vulnerable to professing faith and membership in the new church. In them the prophetic words of St. Paul to Timothy that says "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears. And they shall turn away their ears from the truth and shall be turned unto fables. (2 Timothy 4:3)

As it was in the beginning, the Catholic Church is never without adversaries that have made it their lifelong mission to destroy the church. Said adversaries are not just found outside the church but the most dangerous adversaries are those that were able to penetrate the church and are bringing in destructive heresies, the destroyers of the true faith, the gates of hell. Many of these adversaries are able to reach the summit of the church's hierarchy and holding on to positions that can inflict confusion and mislead the faithful members because of the modern novelties they are bringing in the unchanging doctrines, dogmas, and holy traditions of the church. In its attempt to remain relevant and bring the church more attuned to modern times and modern thinking, the Catholic Church leadership has adopted new teachings that are seemingly harmless owing to its universal theme of peace and goowill to all mankind but the effect is harmful to the faith and to the salvation of the souls.

The Catholic Church is ever mindful of its mission from Jesus Christ, the true but invisible head of the Church represented by its Vicar in the Church, the Bishop of Rome, the Pope. Yet it is aware of the prophecy of the Lord himself that in later times, "many will fall away and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will arise and mislead many. Because of the multiplication of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. (Matthew 24:10-14) There will be falling from the true faith, from the true church and its not just a few but many will fall away bringing destruction to the souls.

“Lord,” someone asked Him, “will only a few people be saved?” Jesus answered, “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able. (Luke 13:23-24) The Catholic Church is ever aware that in the end time, there will be Great Apostasy from the true Faith, from the true Church that only a few will be saved. So great is the apostasy that people think they are following Jesus but in truth and reality, they are not. Great saints too have prophesied that indeed only a few will be saved those that will hold on to the true faith in the true church of Jesus Christ, the Catholic Church.

Many will think that the Catholic Church itself will apostatize but this is not possible because the Catholic Church is united with Jesus Christ as his body. Jesus and his Church are one. Therefore it is impossible for the true church to fall away from the head who is Christ. So this author believes that the leaders of the church will apostatize, that is why the prophecy points to Rome, meaning the place, the nation, the kingdom, which is the Vatican State and its people will apostatize and will fall away bringing destruction to God's people who will believe them.

This blog, therefore, is created to spread the message of the danger to the faith so that the Catholics will become aware because every member must run his own race, persevere and finish it to the end with faith in Jesus Christ and his church intact. St. Paul said "Therefore, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence but now even more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. (Philippinas 2:12)
